Saadia Ali Aschemann lives in West-Central Illinois with her husband and sons. She earned her B.A.
in Government and Politics from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She has recently completed her masters
degree in educational leadership at the University of Illinois at Springfield.
Besides being a wife, mother,
daughter, sister and friend, Saadia is a poet. Her first volume of poetry, lavish lines/luscious lies,
has been published by FireFly publishing. She describes herself as a "compulsive word lover;" her numerous
