Besides being a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Saadia is a poet. Her first volume of
poetry, lavish lines/luscious lies, has been published by FireFly publishing. Her second book length
collection, Words Gone Wild, will be released on October 29, 2008. She describes herself as a "compulsive
word lover;" her numerous online readers would hardly disagree. In the past year, Saadia's readership has grown
exponentially. Her poetry is enjoyed regionally, nationally and globally.
The
poet lives in the Midwest with her family. She earned her B.A. in Government and Politics from George Mason University
in Fairfax, Virginia. She has recently completed her masters degree in educational leadership at the University of Illinois
at Springfield.
